The 8 weeks flew by. I signed up with some hesitation, but once I experienced that safe and gentle space, it became one of the best decisions I've made. I owe the smile on my face — those small moments when I notice a positive shift or a new awareness in my daily life — to Simge and Gizem's care.
What People Say
These are the words of people who have gone through programs and workshops, written in their own voice and shared with permission. They speak more honestly than anything else here could.
I came back to meditation — something I had written off — and now I actually practice it. Self-compassion has become a real tool. There's a part of my mind now that catches me and says, 'we don't talk to ourselves like this.' Relearning something isn't simple, but having started this path means a great deal. And on top of that, you're the reason I began journaling more, and eventually, therapy. Thank you. May your whole lives be as beautiful as your hearts.
Genuinely useful — and potentially life-changing — if you can integrate it into your daily routine.
I'm so grateful I had the chance to join Simge's Self-Compassion Workshop for Professionals. The way she guided us through the exercises felt so gentle, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. The two practices that stayed with me most were How Would I Treat a Friend? and Compassionate Touch. A few days later, on a day when I was feeling really overwhelmed, I remembered them and decided to give them a try. They helped me slow down, be a little kinder to myself, and I finished feeling so much lighter. Thank you, Simge, for sharing such meaningful tools. I know I'll be coming back to them again and again.
This program allowed me to see things that I did not know were affecting my day-to-day functioning. Facing them was hard, but learning how to cope and move through them helped me show up better for myself — and that reflected in my work.
I came into this workshop expecting some nice afternoons of breathing exercises and short breaks from the everyday hustle. What I got instead was a whole new way of talking to myself. Take the practice that stayed with me most — Compassionate Touch. I've had a complicated relationship with my body for a long time, more of a negotiation than a partnership. This was one of the very few times something actually shifted that dynamic. Placing your hands on yourself and just acknowledging that your body is doing its best, that it's on your side — it sounds simple, and it kind of undoes you a little. Beyond that, the workshop gave me actual tools to interrupt the spiral: to pause before the self-criticism kicks in, to be a little softer without being weaker. I didn't think this could genuinely shift something in me, but it exceeded my expectations.
